What Is Anti-Termite Treatment?
Pre-construction anti-termite treatment creates a chemical barrier between the soil and the building foundation to prevent termites from entering the structure. It is applied during construction before flooring, as per IS 6313 (Part II).
Treatment Stages
- Soil Treatment โ Chemical emulsion applied to the excavated soil and backfill around the foundation at 5 liters/mยฒ of surface.
- Foundation Trench โ Emulsion poured along the foundation trench perimeter at 7.5 liters/mยณ.
- Plinth Filling โ Top soil layer treated before PCC/flooring.
