How to Measure for Countertops
- Measure each run โ the straight sections of counter along walls. Include L-shapes and U-shapes as separate runs.
- Measure depth โ Standard kitchen counter depth is 25 inches (including overhang). Bathroom vanity: 22 inches. Island: 36โ42 inches.
- Add backsplash โ Standard backsplash is 4 inches tall. Full-height backsplash goes to the upper cabinets (15โ18 inches).
