π‘ How to Convert kW to Amps

kW to Amps Formula
DC: I = (kW Γ 1,000) / V
AC 1-Phase: I = (kW Γ 1,000) / (V Γ PF)
AC 3-Phase: I = (kW Γ 1,000) / (V Γ PF Γ β3)
AC 1-Phase: I = (kW Γ 1,000) / (V Γ PF)
AC 3-Phase: I = (kW Γ 1,000) / (V Γ PF Γ β3)
Example: 5 kW Load on 240V Single-Phase
I = (5 Γ 1,000) / (240 Γ 0.85) = 24.5 amps
