💡 EV Battery Replacement Costs

Battery pack cost = capacity (kWh) × cost per kWh. Pack-level costs in 2024–2025 are approximately 100–200 per kWh. A 75 kWh pack costs roughly 7,500–15,000 for the battery, plus labour.

Battery prices have dropped 90% since 2010 and continue to fall. Most EV batteries outlast the vehicle — only ~1.5% have been replaced outside of recalls. Warranty coverage (typically 8 years) provides peace of mind.
