๐Ÿ’ก The Army Tape Test Method

The U.S. Army (AR 600-9) uses circumference measurements to estimate body fat when a soldier exceeds screening weight. Men: height, waist (at navel), and neck. Women: height, waist, neck, and hip.

Maximum allowable body fat: Men 26%, Women 36% (varies slightly by age group). The formula uses the same logarithmic approach as the Navy method but with military-specific standards.

Male, 170 cm, waist 85 cm, neck 38 cm: body fat โ‰ˆ 19.7%. Max allowed: 26%. Status: within standard.
